As teenagers working on coffee farms across Peru, we saw firsthand how unfair it can be. The same coffee we were harvesting and selling in town for 20 NOK a kilo was being sold to people just like our families in California for more than 200 NOK a kilo.
For us, this isn't only about coffee. It's about connecting some of the least privileged people in the developed world with some of the most privileged people in the developed world through this crazy drink we all rely on.
With LeafUp, we hope to bring coffee lovers into closer contact with the farmers who produce it and allow them=- to protect the environment at the same time.
